Upcoming Dates
Save the dates! I love collaboration and working with others, so that is a theme of my shows. Stay tuned for details about special guests and unique performances. Check back for regular updates.
Dawn Landes, Lyle DeVitry, Omar Ruiz-Lopez
Lyle de Vitry is an Asheville based multi-instrumentalist who's intricate fingerpicking guitar style and soft baritone voice weave together some beautiful songs that fit right in beside the work of Nick Drake or Jose Gonzalez. In his debut album Door Within a Dream the collection of songs showcase his folk sensibility and classical musicianship (cello, fiddle, piano, banjo).
Omar Ruiz-Lopez played for years with local favorite Violet Bell alongside Lizzy Ross. He has since played with just about every Americana act in the southeast and is known far and wide as a fiddler and collaborator extraordinaire. Come celebrate these amazing musicians!

Joe Westerlund - http://www.joewesterlund.com/
Under his own name, Joe Westerlund has emerged as an intuitive improviser and composer during the last decade, scoring deep meditative practice over the course of three full-length solo records. After all, Westerlund—a longtime student of Milford Graves—has now spent more than a quarter-century gleaning lessons from folk musicians and avant-garde icons, from close friends and challenging strangers alike. He served as the dynamic backbone of Megafaun, the North Carolina trio that he cofounded, and initiated collaborations with Arnold Dreyblatt, On Fillmore and Justin Vernon. As a session drummer, he has worked as the pulse beneath the plaintive Americana of Watchhouse, Daughter of Swords, and Jake Xerxes Fussell and been a textural anchor for the folk abstraction of Califone. Currently, he tours and records primarily in an improvisational trio, Setting (with Jaime Fennelly and Nathan Bowles), as a duo with trumpeter Trever Hagen, and as a solo artist on Psychic Hotline. His latest release, Curiosities from the Shift, is Westerlund’s definitive statement so far: a playful exploration driven by beats but not bound by them.
Omar Ruiz-Lopez, Will Orchard, Lonnie Rott
William Orchard: Will Orchard is a Nashville-via-New England based indie-folk artist. He has made a name for himself as both a deeply emotive and disarming songwriter, and a relentless DIY troubadour. His music has taken him on tour around the US and Europe more times than he can count, often with his partner & fellow songwriter Jess Kerber. His records have been described as “Hush Folk Luminosity” by Glide Magazine, and “Radiant” by Atwood. In 2025, he looks ahead to the release of his 3rd LP, “Behind The Shadow Glass”, and an abundance of tour dates.
Lonnie Rott : Lonnie Rott is a singer-songwriter in Durham, whose songs explore themes of anticapitalist anger, liberation, solidarity, and lament for the reality that everything dies at last, and too soon.
Omar Ruiz-Lopez: Omar Ruiz-Lopez (he/they) is a Latin-Americana artist whose music bridges old-time, Celtic, and Brazilian fiddle traditions with indie folk songwriting. A bilingual singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Omar brings classical training, emotional depth, and a cross-cultural perspective to the stage — drawing inspiration from artists like Nick Drake, Bruce Molsky, and Elliott Smith.
This will be a full-band show for Omar!

Blending tradition with soulful, ethereal melodies, she weaves luscious harmonies with finger-style guitar, creating a rich, contemplative atmosphere sure to move you to places of deeper feeling. Lyle de Vitry- Asheville, NC (Folk / Baroque Folk / Singer Songwriter)
Bio: Much like life itself, the music of Lyle de Vitry comes in cycles. Effortlessly moving between unity and dissonance, voice and instrumentation, rhythm and melody, de Vitry seamlessly integrates the comfort of folk music with the spine-shivering emotional release and intentionality of classical compositions. In so doing, he manages to create a sound as dynamic and honest as the ocean’s eternally flowing tides or the planet’s ever-changing seasons. An acclaimed songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, de Vitry was selected as one of ten finalists for the 2023 Telluride Troubadours contest and was named runner-up in the NewSong LEAF Singer-Songwriter Competition. He recently completed the prestigious Residency at 821 hosted by Lamplight AVL in Asheville, NC, and is currently recording an instrumental album. His debut album, Door Within a Dream, was released in August 2024.

One of the singles off that album, "Together Alone", made it onto NPR's All Songs Considered 10 best songs of 2021 list.
